Bring embodied awareness into the spaces you support.
Tasheena Medina partners with organizations, educators, retreat hosts, event leaders, and professional communities to create accessible, research-informed embodied experiences grounded in the Intuitive Movement Meditation™ methodology.
Through movement, breath, awareness, and reflection, IMM™ creates structured opportunities for participants to notice internal cues, explore their lived experience, and respond with greater awareness and choice.

One methodology. Adapted to the people and spaces you support.
IMM™ can be adapted across professional, educational, retreat, and event settings while maintaining the core methodology and its choice-centered approach.
Why Partner With IMM™?
Embodied experiences designed with both structure and agency.

Research-Informed
IMM™ was formalized through Tasheena’s graduate research in Yoga Studies and is informed by interdisciplinary study across embodied, somatic, and contemplative approaches.

Choice-Centered
Participants are invited to explore rather than perform, achieve, or override their bodies. Choice remains part of the experience.

Adaptable
IMM™ experiences can be shaped around the audience, environment, available time, and intentions of the partnership while maintaining the integrity of the methodology.

Accessible
No dance experience, flexibility, or particular fitness level is required. Experiences can include standing, seated, floor-based, or mixed-level participation.
Organizations & Teams
Support the people behind the work.
IMM™ offers organizations an experiential approach to well-being that moves beyond information alone.
Through movement, breath, awareness, and reflection, participants are invited to explore internal cues, patterns of stress and capacity, and ways of relating to their experience with greater awareness and choice.
Experiences can be adapted for workplaces, leadership teams, educators, caregivers, helping professionals, community organizations, and other professional environments.

Universities & Education
Bring embodied inquiry into the learning environment.
IMM™ can support educational environments where students, faculty, professionals, and community learners are exploring well-being, embodied awareness, stress, contemplative practice, and sustainable ways of engaging with themselves and their work.
Tasheena can adapt IMM™ for guest workshops, professional development, experiential learning sessions, multi-session programs, and course-based environments.
Depending on the setting, experiences may explore embodied awareness, movement and choice, breath and attention, interoception and internal cues, reflection, and the development of sustainable personal practices.

Professional Development: Experiential programming for faculty, educators, staff, and helping professionals.
Multi-Session Programs: Progressive learning experiences that allow participants to explore IMM™ concepts and practices over time.
Course-Based Experiences: Structured educational offerings that integrate embodied learning, reflection, and the core IMM™ methodology.
IMM™ educational offerings are experiential and educational in nature and are not psychotherapy, medical treatment, or a substitute for individualized healthcare.

Speaking & Media
Ideas people can understand—and experiences they can feel.
Tasheena Medina is an educator, movement facilitator, and creator of Intuitive Movement Meditation™ whose work explores the relationship between embodied awareness, internal information, stress, resilience, and sustainable capacity.
Her speaking brings research-informed ideas into accessible conversation while challenging some of the assumptions that shape modern wellness—including the idea that resilience simply means becoming better at pushing through.
Speaking engagements can remain conversational and educational or incorporate experiential moments drawn from IMM™.
Signature Topics
The Body Is Already Speaking: What changes when we begin treating the body as a source of information rather than something to continually override?

Meet the Creator of IMM™
Developed through practice. Formalized through research.
Tasheena Medina, M.A., is an educator, movement facilitator, choreographer, and creator of Intuitive Movement Meditation™.
IMM™ emerged from more than 18 years of movement education, creative practice, teaching, and embodied inquiry. Tasheena later formalized and studied the framework through her graduate work in Yoga Studies at Loyola Marymount University, bringing together movement, breath, awareness, and reflection into the methodology now known as Intuitive Movement Meditation™.
Her work bridges lived experience, embodied practice, and research-informed inquiry while remaining grounded in a simple principle: the body is not something to continually override—it is a source of information we can learn to notice, explore, and respond to.
