"What becomes possible when we learn to listen to the body instead of overriding it?"
Why IMM?
Many people move through life disconnected from their internal cues while navigating chronic stress, burnout, and overstimulation.
Intuitive Movement Meditation™ offers a space to slow down, listen inward, and explore what the body is communicating through movement, breath, awareness, and reflection.
A practice of listening—not overriding.

A moment of presence during an IMM practice.
Research & Development
Intuitive Movement Meditation™ was developed through Tasheena Medina’s graduate research in the Master of Arts in Yoga Studies program at Loyola Marymount University.
The framework brings together interdisciplinary research and practice in interoception, mindfulness, yoga philosophy, contemplative neuroscience, heart rate variability, nervous system regulation, reflective inquiry, and embodied movement.
IMM explores how movement-centered contemplative practices may support greater body awareness, emotional regulation, self-reflection, and resilience for people navigating chronic stress.

Graduate Research
Developed through graduate thesis research in Loyola Marymount University’s Master of Arts in Yoga Studies program.
