In any aspect of the dance world, it takes a village. Whether you are training, teaching, choreographing, or directing a show, every role is vital and contributes to being a life long learner. When I was a young dancer, I had teachers, mentors, choreographers, and directors who taught me what it really means to be self-disciplined, step out of my comfort zones, and embrace my artistic voice. As an educator, it is of the upmost honor to have the responsibility to pass the torch, inspire, and give young dancers opportunities to further their training in becoming professionals. I have the privilege of not only teaching dance daily, but traveling the U.S. year round recruiting talent and awarding scholarships for the dance programs at AMDA College of the Performing Arts.
